Labour is in the struggle for hearts and minds, not just of its own constituency, but also for an entire global society. It must offer an alternative vision to the dominant ideology of the day. The role of the artist in the Twenty-First Century is to assist labour's struggle to see, and position, itself as a rallying point for humanity.
